Music

Pupils in Years 7 and 8 attend weekly music lessons and participate in the Senior Choir, which also meets weekly.

Lessons encompass a wide variety of musical styles, including jazz, popular music, political music and opera. There is a strong emphasis on creativity: students work on regular composition projects, which allows them to utilise their fundamental musical knowledge acquired in the Junior School and outside music lessons.  

Private music lessons are available to all in the Senior School, and students are encouraged to perform at a wide variety of school events.
