Admissions

Welcome to the Admissions Department of Cambridge International School.  All our children matter to us and we recognise the importance of understanding and accommodating the range of individual and family circumstances that present themselves. Our Registrar, Mrs Tracey Headland, is here to help guide you through the admissions process and ensure that the start of your life with Cambridge International School both rewarding and straightforward.

CIS is not formally academically selective; however, we do have high expectations for all our pupils. In our senior school, we are working at high academic levels in order to prepare effectively for the IGCSE & GCSE examinations, which require work of a very high standard.

We are supportive of families who move, live and work internationally and thus we accept pupils into CIS for short-term programmes as well as for standard academic years.

We welcome students subject to the availability of places and fulfilment of our admissions requirements. We strive to balance our classes according to age and gender and priority is given to siblings of children already at the school.

Do not hesitate to contact our Registrar on admissions@cischool.co.uk or call +44 (0) 1223 778290 with any questions you may have, book a visit or attend and open day and start the application and admissions process.

Tracey Headland, Registrar, will be happy to guide you through the admission process.
