Model United Nations Conference

This weekend, 16th / 17th September, Ms Hobbs and Mrs Hall are accompanying ten students from Years 10 & 11 to the Cambridge University Students Model United Nations Conference (CUSMUN).  They will be joined by 20 other schools from around the UK and beyond.  The weekend is a great opportunity for the students to develop their research, debating and leadership skills, whilst making new friends from around the world. CIS is representing Argentina and Senegal in the following committees:

Argentina, 6 delegates:
Human Rights Council = James (UNHRC)
Economics and Social Council = Enfys (ECOSOC)
Historical Emergency General Assembly = Sharon (HEGA)
UN Women = Maria (UN Women)
General Assembly 6th Committee (Legal) = Minjae (Sixth Committee)
World Health Organisation = Nikita (WHO)

Senegal, 3 delegates:
Security Council = Dan (UNSC)
Historical Emergency General Assembly = Leon (HEGA)
UN Women = Li Jie (UN Women)
